The new motion seems to have some overlapping arguments with the motion she filed in 2024. This is according to federal authorities, the actual motion has not been made public yet. Her arguments in 2024 were :

“Ghislaine, in March, asked the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit to overturn her conviction and 20-year prison sentence for recruiting and grooming the underage girls who Epstein s*xually abused, arguing she was immunized by an agreement federal prosecutors in Florida arranged with Epstein in 2007.”

Villarreal v. Texas (Feb 2026), is a decision by the SCOTUS holding that a defendant's rights to consult with his or her lawyer during an evening recess while testifying in court can be limited, and such limitation is not a violation of the defendant's Sixth Amendment rights. The Supreme Court resolved a circuit split by establishing that banning attorney-client discussion during an overnight break, but only regarding the testimony itself, is not a violation of the Sixth Amendment. However, attorneys and clients must still be allowed to confer on broader issues, like strategy, plea negotiations, and witness availability.

“Southwest alleged it was overcharged by generic drugmakers including Sandoz, Teva and Sun starting in May 2009. The lawsuit, opens new tab, filed in the federal court in Philadelphia and unsealed on July 3, said the companies violated antitrust law by coordinating on pricing.”

Southwest Airlines has sued a group of drugmakers in U.S. court for allegedly participating in a price-fixing conspiracy that caused the airline to overpay for purchases of hundreds of millions of dollars in medications for employees.
