Stephen Viscusi of The Viscusi Group with Maria Porro, President of Salone del Mobile Milano at the 101st anniversary at their Manhattan showroom. PORRO S.p.A. is a Milan area Italian design brand founded in 1925. Maria Porro, friend of The Viscusi Group, is the director of Marketing and Communications at PORRO S.p.A. as well as the separate distinction of being the first woman President of Salone del Mobile, a position she has held since 2021. Maria is also on the board of directors for Altagamma, an Italian cultural and creative industry foundation. Maria was chatting with Viscusi about his plans to attend Salone del Mobile and to visit her factory just of outside of Milan. Most of the attendees at Salone are clients of The Viscusi Group and while celebrating the festivities of PORRO S.p.A’s anniversary, Maria and Stephen discussed the state of the luxury industry.
