Live-in Houseman needed in Nassau County, NY
Compensation: 110K-120K annual salary plus full medical benefits, 401K etc.
Schedule: Live-out, Monday to Friday, 40-50 hours a week, will include weekends in the Summer and some holidays. Flexibility in scheduling to meet the changing demands of the family.
New York based private family seeks a hard-working, responsible, and trustworthy Groundskeeper with at least 5 years or more of experience working with an UHNW family. The successful candidate will have, among other characteristics, excellent cleanliness standards, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. Attention to detail, prioritization, and time management skills are important as are flexibility, honesty, reliability. The Groundskeeper will work closely with the Leadership Team as well as directly with the Principals.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Assist with outdoor estate maintenance, such as pool equipment, lawn care, planting, fertilizing.
• Preparing outdoor areas for various weather conditions by weatherproofing, covering, tying down items.
• Assistance with pest control to maintain a comfortable environment.
• Operating and maintaining garden and landscaping equipment.
• Assistance with estate systems such as HVAC, sprinkler, and irrigation systems.
• Assistance with cleaning, dusting, mopping, polishing, and washing.
• Running errands.
• Greeting family and guests upon arrival.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
• Perform all duties above for Main Estate and additional properties on Long Island.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Must have at least 5 years of experience working as a houseman for a high-profile employer always ensuring
5-star service.
• Knowledge of outdoor estate equipment and procedures and their application/use on various surfaces.
• Beginner knowledge of estate maintenance.
• Knowledge of contract work.
• Ability to drive.
