📢 Last week New York State officially passed its FY 2026-27 budget, which includes investments in education, healthcare, local governments, workforce initiatives, and affordability measures across the state. The $268.5 billion budget was approved eight weeks after its April 1 deadline.

As new funding and policies are implemented, workforce development programs will continue to play an important role in connecting New Yorkers to employment, training, and economic opportunity and America Works of New York, Inc. is committed to helping every step of the way.
