Salesforce UX Architect
Location: U.S. Remote (open to Canada and Mexico candidates)
Duration: Full time
You will be working closely with our clients to design and optimize their user journeys and to create quality and high-fidelity mock-ups, and bring the latest in design trends and capabilities on the market and in the industry. Leveraging the powerful capabilities of the Salesforce Industries and Salesforce toolkits, as well as the increasing palette of web development tools, you'll be responsible for designing task flows and visual designs that meet user needs, as well as being brand-aligned, highly usable, scalable, extensible, and maintainable.
Requirements
10 + years experience in UX and UI design, with a particular focus on enterprise applications and/or mobile applications and eCommerce
Extensive experience designing applications in at least one of Salesforce's industries Insurance, Health, Public Sector, Telecommunications, etc.
Salesforce Community Cloud development and design experience a MUST
Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows, and site maps
Understand the importance of defining meaningful customer experience metrics for digital experiences
Passionate about designing applications that are both eye-catching and intuitive, and that accelerates user productivity and adoption.
Have had experience leading UX for large complex agile projects, with many stakeholders, including agencies, customers, systems integrators, and team members.
Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
Running user testing of applications, software, and websites
Defining interaction models, user task flows, and UI (user interface) specifications
Have experience with accessibility standards and tools
A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD), planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability, and accessibility concerns.
A self-starter, adept at picking up new skills and technologies, and eager to break new ground
Excellent communication skills, equally comfortable with crafting emails as leading a white-board discussion with customers, or delivering a functional demo
Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, OmniGraffle, or other visual design and wire-framing tools
Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
Education
BS/MS in Human-Computer Interaction, Interaction Design, Computer Design, Development or Engineering or related
OR at least 7 year's work experience
Salesforce Admin Certification
Salesforce App Builder Certification
Salesforce Community Consultant Certification (preferred), or equivalent experience will do,
Salesforce Application Architect Certification is preferred, or equivalent experience will work
Responsibilities
Collaborating with product management and engineering to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience in relation to Salesforce
Executing all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off to engineering in an agile environment
Design, architect and communicate requirements impacting the Salesforce Community and work with backend engineering and integration teams to ensure completeness of data exchange from the web to the lower environment and vice versa.
Conceptualizing original ideas that bring simplicity and user-friendliness to complex design roadblocks.
Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive-level stakeholders.
Conduct user research and evaluate user feedback
Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices, and standards.
Participate in creating a content development strategy
Coordinate and set standards on issues like navigation, page routing, product page design, and more.
Develop mock-ups for development
Conduct usability tests on each independent type of page on the website and create a report showcasing your findings.
