A busy gastroenterology practice in California is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Bilingual Medical Virtual Assistant to support daily patient communication and scheduling. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, healthcare support experience, and the ability to communicate professionally in both Spanish and English.

𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀
• Answer incoming calls from hospitals and patients
• Handle patient inquiries and escalate when necessary
• Schedule and confirm appointments and procedures
• Send reminders via phone and text
• Document patient interactions and call details
• Update and manage patient information in the EMR
• Coordinate communication between patients, hospitals, and clinic staff

𝗧𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 & 𝗦𝘆𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗺𝘀
• EMR/EHR: eClinicalWorks
• Phone System: Spectrum (training provided)

𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀
• Fluent in Spanish and English (required)
• Experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant, Medical Receptionist, or similar role
• Experience handling patient calls and appointment scheduling
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems (eClinicalWorks is a plus)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems
• Reliable internet connection and quiet workspace

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀
• Experience supporting U.S.-based medical practices
• Background in gastroenterology or similar specialty (a plus)
