Opening in 1998, our journey has included many an experience that impacted who we are as a comany. Where have we been? Well, we crossed the "new millineum" bridge, watched the dot-com boom (and bust), returned to the city after Hurricane Katrina - rebuilt our business from scratch, fought through the recession of 2008-09, shared in the dismay of the BP spill, participated in the confusion the new ACA, scrambled to keep up with rapid tech upgrades in staffing, crossed over the 20 year threshhold, went remote under the "Covid stay-at-home" mandate, and soldiered on during the recent changes in the workplace that Covid ignited and AI continued. What a journey.
Anyone else feeling older than they are? We do! But Team .corporatestaffing still loves doing what we do.

As we get back to work after the long Labor Day weekend, we are reflecting on the impact that our local "Covid stay-at-home mandate" made in our lives over the last 6.5 years. Covid changed things for a lot of people, for a long time, and that is very true for our ADEETA team (some good, some not so good). We are still remote. We never signed an office lease again. We work with more long distance clients. We like not wearing fancy shoes all day. We go out for coffee meetings more often. We take a lot more walks. We do more Direct Hire and less Temp placement. But we MISS people in our immediate work space. Moving forward, who knows what the future will bring.
We wonder, "how have things changed for you?" Anyone else still FULLY REMOTE? We don't see it that much any more, but we do see the value (and increase) of HYBRID work schedules. Once we hit the peak of NOLA summer HEAT, I start dreaming of cooler temperatures. When September arrives, and the Labor Day weekend approaches, I feel like the rest of the country gets to make big outdoor plans for a lovely day in cooling temperatures. But not us. Nope - never for Labor Day. But I'm still going to have FALL thoughts, put some FOOTBALL on the TV and grab a PUMPKIN Latte - but it'll have to be ICED. Have a great long holiday weekend!

We probably don't need to say this out loud but we will (just to be professional) OUR OFFICE WILL BE CLOSED ON MONDAY, SEPTEMBER 7, 2026 for the LABOR DAY HOLIDAY. Big plans? We'd love to have a day long outdoor picnic, but somehow summer has forgotten to lower her temperatures as September arrives. We'll be inside doing something fun in front of the A/C vent.
