When I first came to college I did not know anyone, and didn’t have any friends from high school with me. When I began rushing, I walked into phi mu and I knew I was home. I was welcomed with open arms and could feel the love from all of the girls! I then met my now big and our president abigail and was immediately drawn to them and their mentorship! This place has given me endless opportunities and I have been able to build connections I never thought possible. LIOB🩷🩷🩷

Today we will be highlighting a friendship we all know and love…

Lizzie- Zoie and I were random roommates and literally had no idea what to expect, but rushing together turned us from strangers into inseparable almost overnight. She’s the person who always has my back and has been there for me through things no one else really has. She’s my sunshine every single day, and I genuinely miss her so much whenever she’s gone. Half the time I end up sleeping on her floor or crawling into her bed because somehow we always end up together anyway. At this point, if one of us gets invited somewhere, it’s basically just assumed the other one is coming too. Winning “most likely to stay out all night” and “life of the party” at semi-formal felt way too fitting. Phi Mu gave me so much, but getting a built-in best friend out of it will always be my favorite part.

Zoie- When I first came to college and found out I’d have a random roommate named Lizzie, I was honestly terrified. Move in day felt so scary and I didn’t know what to expect. But the moment we met, everything just clicked. We went through bid day together, and from that point on, we’ve been inseparable. Wherever Lizzie goes, I go, it’s just how we are. What started as a random assignment turned into something so much more. She’s my forever best friend, my future maid of honor, and truly a sister to my heart.
