A client in College Grove, TN is looking for a dog-loving Family Household Assistant to join their team! The family consists of 12-year-old boy and girl twins and three dogs! They are looking for someone who has a “see a need, fill a need” mentality. This is a fast-paced home with changing needs! The kids are active and largely independent, but they need someone to keep things running and get them where they need to be! Candidates should be comfortable working with preteens. This is a fully staffed home and candidates must be comfortable working alongside a household manager and other household staff with a team player attitude! Candidates should be self-motivated, highly trustworthy, and ready to jump in wherever needed — whether that’s an errand, a birthday party, or covering for the family’s house manager when she’s out! They are looking for someone warm who brings a positive presence to an active home. Candidates must LOVE dogs, as dog care will be a large part of this job. This candidate will be responsible for getting the dogs out and about and helping burn off energy! Flexibility is a must in this role, as no two days will look the same.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: driving kids to and from activities, overnights with the kids, dog care, cleaning up after dogs, managing vet and groomer appointments, dog sitting, take the cars to be detailed and maintance appointments, general household support, run errands, manage packages and returns, laundry, meet vendors at the home, support the house manager, organization, daily tidying, helping book travel, family logistics and more!

The ideal schedule is Monday–Friday, between the hours of 8am-6pm, with a gaurantee of 40 hours a week. A schedule will be provided in advance for each week. Flexibility is a MUST, including some evenings, weekends and overnights and a busier pace over the summer. The client is offering $35/hr+ DOE full health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) match, and 15 days of PTO. There are 3 dogs in the home, so candidates must be pet friendly! A minimum of 3+ years of experience is required.

A family in Brentwood is looking for a family assistant to join their home! There are three children, ages 7, 6, and 4. The kids are partially homeschooled and have a nanny/homeschool teacher. The Family Assistant will help fill in the gaps of the day to day to keep the home running smoothly. The ideal candidate is flexible and willing to jump in wherever is needed! The ideal candidate is comfortable with children and recognizes tasks that need to be done around the house. The family values a calm, quiet household and seeks someone dependable, proactive, warm, and easygoing! While the role is focused in Brentwood, the family has a second property in Columbia that the candidate must be comfortable driving to once a week. No regular travel is required, but openness to travel is a plus!

Responsibilities include, but not limited to: backup childcare, helping transport kids to and from afternoon activities, laundry, daily tidying, running errands, managing packages and returns, grocery shopping, light meal prep, managing household stock, dealing with vendors, oversight of Columbia home, and more!

The schedule is Monday through Friday, approximately 10am-6pm, but with flexibiliy to shift. A household vehicle is provided for use while working with the children. They are offering $35-$45/hr DOE, a health insurance stipend, 10 days of PTO, and 4 sick days. Candidates must have a minimum of 3+ years of experience. This is a pet free home.

This is a Christian home and the family is looking for someone who is aligned with those beliefs and willing to promote them with the child! The little girl is in school 3 days a week. The ideal candidate will need to balance childcare and household tasks. Mom and grandparents are very hands-on, so the candidate must be comfortable working closely alongside the family and keeping mom informed with pictures and updates! She is looking for someone proactive, loving, creative and silly and dedicated to education and growth! The child is artistic, loves nature, theater and music. The ideal candidate understands how a household works and can jump right in! Experience with food allergies is a plus!

The family has a 3-year-old and a 6-year-old. The focus of the role will be with the three-year-old, so recent experience with this age is a must! However, candidates must be comfortable working with both children. This is a fully staffed home, so candidates should be used to working in a team environment. The family is very warm and loving and is looking for a nanny who is the same! Mom and Dad are hands-on in the day-to-day and are looking for someone who is open to working alongside them and taking charge when they are not around. The ideal candidate has experience in education, as they plan to homeschool, and a focus on age-appropriate enrichment. Communication is very important to the parents, they realize nannies can bring new experiences and ideas and are open to collaboration. A family of 4 in Belle Meade is looking for an organized, upbeat, and dependable Family Assistant to join their family. The family has a 6-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy. Both kids are in school 5 days a week. The ideal candidate brings a positive attitude to the home, is proactive, responsible, and playfully engaged with the kids. They have a pool, so a strong swimmer is a plus. Mom and dad both work remotely from the house, so the Family Assistant must be comfortable working closely with the parents. The family travels a few times a year for vacation and would love a FA who is open to joining them when needed! The ideal candidate is also comfortable staying overnight with the children if both parents are traveling. The Family Assistant will help with school drop-off and pick-ups and tasks around the house and errands while the children are at school.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: childcare, school drop-off and pick-ups, driving to and from after-school activities, managing kids’ activity communications, taking the kids on outings, snack and some meal prep, children’s laundry, traveling with the family, packing and unpacking for the kids, pre-planned overnights, running errands, grocery shopping, household organization and more.

The family’s preferred schedule would ideally include approximately 11:30am–6pm on Monday, 1:30pm–6pm Tuesday–Thursday, and 1:30pm–5pm Friday, with additional hours worked in the mornings and/or a couple of longer days to reach a guaranteed 40 hours per week. The family would love a candidate who is open to a split schedule a couple of days a week, but they are flexible and open to discussing other schedules for the right candidate. Flexibility is needed, particularly in the event that a child is home sick from school or during school holidays. The family is offering $38+/hr depending on experience with a guarantee of 40 hours per week, along with a health insurance stipend, PTO, and sick days. The family has one professionally trained, hypoallergenic dog, so candidates must be dog friendly. A minimum of 3+ years of experience is required.
