Who We Are Looking For:

IMI is in search of an attentive, careful, and independent individual with a passion for operating heavy machinery. We need a forklift operator to ensure the efficient and safe movement of materials during our projects. You should have previous years’ experience working and operating a forklift.

Experience/Education:
The right candidate for this position must have verification of their high school diploma, as well as one or more years experience in construction or warehousing.

We require the following from you:

- 1-3 years of experience operating a forklift, telehandlers (not just a course), and/or various lift equipment
- Verification of high school diploma or GED & operator certifications
- Ability to lift 50lbs repeatedly
- Previous experience working in an industrial warehouse environment
- Ability to use a phone/pc to scan inventory items as they arrive without supervision.
- Ability to speak in English and/or French.
- MA state license
- Class 1D Hoisting License

General Responsibilities You’d Hold:

- Heavy lifting
- Inventorying materials
- Cleanup of debris
- Sweeping/ lifting/ loading and unloading materials
- Assisting technicians with the installation
- Operating a forklift, scissor lift, and/or other lift equipment

Worksites can be dangerous, so to ensure your safety at all times, we require you always possess a hard hat, steel-toe boots, work gloves, safety vests, and work goggles.

Due to the many responsibilities we are tasking our employees with, we ask they have some or all of the following:

- Any or all basic hand tools, and a toolbox or bag.
- Hardhat
- Safety Vest
- Steel-toed work boots
- Safety vest
- Work gloves
- Safety glasses

Additional Job Details:

- Work Location: Worcester, MA
- Contract Length: TBD *end dates are subject to change*
- Full-time/ Overtime Opportunity: Yes
- Pay Frequency: Weekly
