Green Friday Community Oak Planting Day
Friday, Nov 24, 9-11:30am - Alston Park
Join us for our annual day-after-Thanksgiving volunteer event! We'll be planting acorns at Alston Park, right next to the acorns we planted last year. Once you make it up the hill, head toward the green tent! We'll have jobs for everyone- some folks will be digging holes, some will be mulching, some will be assembling protective cages, and some folks will work on preparing burlap for a w**d barrier! Specialized Vocational Services (SVS) will be hosting a Virtual Napa Valley College Disability Support Programs and Services (DSPS)

Parents' Night for Seniors with IEP's and 504 plans is this evening, March 21st from 5:00pm-6:00pm on Zoom.

Napa Valley College DSPS counselors will share information regarding; DSPS services, applying to Napa Valley College, accommodations, assistive technology, registration, and Intro to College summer class for incoming students.

The Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) will also be presenting during the event to inform parents about the Adult Vocational Rehabilitation Services offered to students after high school graduation. All students with IEPs are eligible for Adult DOR Services after high school. Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) provides employment services, employment support, career goal planning and more!
