Registered Dietitian Nutritionist
Our client is a professional group of Registered Dieticians that provide Medical Nutrition Therapy to patients across Riverside and San Bernardino Counties. Through nutrition assessments, counseling, prescriptions, and educational materials, we help them reach the core for nutritional change. The office is currently seeking Registered Dietitians to provide services to referred patients and support to the staff in hybrid roles.
Responsibilities and Duties
-Complete nutrition assessments for patients based on medical diagnoses and physician orders
-Develop and implement individualized nutrition care plans to follow the care and progress of patients
-Provide educational materials and science-based nutrition information to encourage and support patients’ change
-Document in digital records as appropriate
-Communicate with referring Providers’ offices on their patients’ assessments and plans
Qualifications and Skills
-Possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Food and/or Nutritional Science
-Current Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR)
-Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian, with preference for candidates with at least one year of experience in Clinical Nutrition or Medical Nutrition Therapy
-Attainment of National Provider Identifier (NPI) and maintenance of Personal Liability Insurance
-Knowledge of HIPAA privacy practices and experience in the medical field
-Excellent communication skills and a high level of dependability/professionalism
