HVAC TECHNICIAN-IMMEDIATE NEED

Duties include but are not limited to investigating problems and performing repairs on mechanical and electrical equipment in heating, cooling and ventilation systems.
Perform preventative maintenance on mechanical and electrical equipment in heating and cooling systems; such as but not limited to, VAV boxes, chillers, cooling towers and pneumatic systems. Monitor and inspect heating and cooling systems to ensure continued operation.
Must working knowledge of Building Automation Systems, in particular Andover Continuum and Niagara Tridium.
Must be able to follow oral and written instructions, with the ability to read blue prints or CAD prints and coordinate work with outside and internal contractors.
Ability to provide estimates on materials costs and time required for job completion.

Position is considered essential; therefore, overtime work and on-call status will be necessary.
Position requires assisting in snow and ice removal and other weather related work.
Working outdoors in inclement weather conditions is required
Must be able to pick-up, hold, and carry 75 to 100 lbs of weight.

Completion of trade school, Associate’s degree or Apprenticeship and 3 years of work experience in the commercial sector or high school graduation with 5 years of commercial maintenance services preferred.
OR
Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school AND three years of HVAC experience which includes six months in a lead worker capacity.

Special Requirements: Requires a valid Environmental Protection Agency Universal Certification issued or approved by the North Carolina State Board of Refrigeration Examiners and a valid class-C Government issued Driver’s license with a three-year acceptable driving record.

Warehouse Operations Manager - (Inventory Specialist)

SUMMARY
The Inventory Analyst for the Business Services group will purchase, receive and organize stock and non-stock parts to provide inventory control for the central storeroom at the Department of General Services. This position will also deliver work control support by entering service requests into the Department’s facility work order system, assist in maintain the records of the system database and provide monthly cost reports. Other duties include monthly reporting of performance measure for building maintenance, locating parts for special orders, receiving credits from vendors for returns, and reconciling inventory records to physical counts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
• Oversee operations of the central storeroom to include but not limited to : providing storeroom access to all internal customers, purchasing of required supplies and maintain an adequate and accurate inventory.
• Ensures consistent application of Inventory Control Procedures
• Generates Monthly Performance measure Reporting
• Provides technical support of Facility Work Order System

JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education: Vocational, Administrative or Technical Associates degree
Experience: Two-Three (2-3) or more years of related experience
Technical Skills: Skilled-Requires a comprehensive knowledge of a technical field with use of analytical judgment and decision-making abilities appropriate to the work environment of the organization and requires knowledge of a specific vocational, administrative, or technical nature.
Reading: Intermediate- Ability to read papers, periodicals, journals, manuals, dictionaries, thesauruses, and encyclopedias. Ordinarily, such education is obtained in High School up to College. However, it may be obtained from experience or self-study.
Math: Basic-Ability to perform the four basic arithmetic operations. Ordinarily, such education is obtained in elementary up to high school. However, it may be obtained from experience or self-study.
Writing: Intermediate- Ability to write reports, prepare business letters, expositions, and summaries with proper format, punctuation, spelling, and grammar, using all parts of speech. Ordinarily, such education is obtained in high school up to college. However, it may be obtained from experience or self-study.

Certifications & other Requirements: Valid Class “C” Driver’s License, Forklift
