Senior Associate Wealth & Asset Management
Great opportunity for a driven entrepreneurial minded professional to join an established, nationally recognized fee based private wealth management firm with essentially unlimited earning potential and no sales/cold calling. Our client has successfully combined tax planning and wealth management strategy services, developing relationships as a trusted adviser to high net worth clients for decades. They are seeking a professional with at least 3 years of personal financial planning experience or CPA/tax experience with a desire to transition into a role combining wealth planning and tax strategy, along with strong interpersonal skills and a client service mind set to join their growing practice.
What you will do:
Develop relationships with clients acting as their trusted adviser on all wealth management, estate and tax planning issues.
Interview clients to develop a deep understanding of their overall financial makeup and goals in order to develop a comprehensive tax and wealth management strategy.
Partner with the wealth management team to develop wealth management strategies
Assist in the development and presentation to clients of wealth management strategies and portfolio allocation
Lead communications with both clients, and federal (IRS), state and local tax officials.
Network and develop relationships to promote firm awareness and drive practice growth.

What's required:
A CFP or desire to pursue 3+ years of related personal financial planning experience or CPA track and 3 + years of individual tax compliance and planning with a desire to incorporate wealth management planning into your career path
Strong presentation and communication skills
CFP and Series 65 or willingness to obtain both
Strong Microsoft Office/Excel, Power Point required, Emoney and Morningstar Office preferred
A desire to develop new relationships and help grow the firm
Prior wealth management, estate and trust experience is helpful but not required
