Traffic Coordinator
1. Ensure all routing guidelines are followed for each account to ensure proper shipping of the accounts.
2. Manage and maintain the flow of shipping for each account.
3. Obtain and maintain the knowledge of all supporting processes; routing guidelines, vendor compliance, account processes, department policies and procedures.
4. Create Shipping Documents.
5. Monitor daily orders to be shipped.
6. Obtain routing and carrier information on a daily basis.
7. Coordinate Traffic and Shipping needs (e.g., schedule pickups, shipping schedule)

11. Must possess the knowledge of all supporting functions in the traffic department, such as creating shipments, creating loads, adding and removing orders from existing loads, entering correct and accurate data in S.O.P.A.
12. Assist and comply with compliance department to ensure proper shipping needs are meet regularly.
13. Compose reports / memos.
14. Ability to build and maintain customer and carrier relationships.

16. Support the urgency to meet deadlines, month end / quarter needs.
17. Follow all Traffic Dept. account processes, policies and procedures.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for evaluating and implementing MRP generated production plans based on the forecast provided by the Marketing department. This role addresses the feasibility and the fulfillment of special production requests and assists with evaluating the finished goods inventory. The planner coordinates with the buyers for all production and material related issues.

TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Generates monthly production plans based on marketing forecast, FG inventory
and open orders, making sure FG inventory are replenished prior to the
determined safety stock level
-Coordinates and plans production with procurement teams for private labels and
special non-inventory finished goods or bulk products
-Monitors and approves large orders on a regular basis. Reviews sales tracking
against finished goods inventory while coordinating and expediting the placement
of purchase orders and/or delivery of material such that deadlines are met
-Works with client's Industries manufacturing team on regular basis to ensure
smooth production process and to communicate and coordinate with the clients
procurement teams of any production related issues
-Coordinates with marketing on the production of new items by requesting the sales
forecast and communicates with buyers to determine initial production quantity and
launch dates
-Takes lead in coordinating with Marketing, QC, and International departments on
promotion or special large quantity fulfillment to ensure that inventory will not be at
critical low levels
-Assists buyers or sourcing department personnel with raw material forecast based
on the FG forecast and future production needs
-Monitors and analyzes production workloads and keeps manager apprised on a
regular basis
-Works with IT to customize and develop INFOR to production needs. Ensures data
integrity and drafts as needed SOP’s for management review
-Creates and approves distribution orders in INFOR for material transfers.
-Maintains accurate customer order spreadsheet
-Performs any other related duties as may be assigned by manager

The Customer Service Manager is responsible for managing both B2B and B2C departments to ensure customer orders are accurately fulfilled for both channels. The Buyer is responsible for procuring the material and components required to make the products according to the production planning. This position supports the department processes in evaluating vendors and suppliers and ensures a smooth material flow.

-Performs purchasing/buying duties by analyzing inventory requirements and
placing purchase orders for materials/products
-Identifies, recommends, and evaluates vendors from which to procure
requisitioned commodities, meeting criteria such as price, quantity, quality and
delivery date and places orders
-Issues purchase orders and purchase orders based on the established monthly
production plan, sending the approved purchase orders to the suppliers and
following up with the supplier on shipment of delivery of the material
-Obtains required documentation of any material as specified by quality control
department (certificate of analysis, packing list, MSDS, etc.)
-Calculates and coordinates packaging/label requirement to ensure a smooth
