Big announcement from Soma Employment Solutions.

The East African Job Fair 2026 is happening on Friday, July 10, 2026 at the Zawadi Center in Bloomington, Minnesota. Doors open at 9:00 AM.

This is Minnesota's first full-day job fair built exclusively for East African professionals and job seekers. The morning opens with keynote addresses and expert panels led by East African professionals. The afternoon transitions into a full job fair with fifty or more employers actively hiring across healthcare, technology, logistics, government, and manufacturing. Free resume coaching and interview preparation are available throughout the day. Free to attend.

At Soma Employment Solutions, we are deeply concerned about the ongoing federal ICE enforcement actions in Minnesota and the real harm they are causing to workers, employers, and small businesses.

Immigrant workers are essential to our economy in healthcare, childcare, construction, food production, manufacturing, and service industries. When people are afraid to go to work, entire teams and operations are disrupted. This situation is harming workforce stability, increasing labor shortages, and creating uncertainty for both employers and employees.
