Novus Group seeks a Closing Coordinator for our client, a leader in the mortgage industry. Pay rate up to $14.00 per hour.
The Closing Coordinator will perform the coordination of all aspects involved with finalizing the loan closing process. Individuals in this role communicate with clients, borrowers, internal staff, and outside agencies to facilitate all closing issues in a timely manner, consistent with company-defined standards.
Job Description
• Review and Manage Daily Progress Reports, Closing, Disbursement, Rejects, Title Clearance
• Prepare Closing Documentation, in Accordance with Federal, State, and Client Requirements
• Work with Title Commitment Coordinators to Review Title Commitment for Clearance
• Secure Lender Approval for Loan Closing Documents
• Confirm Necessary Closing Details, i.e. Closing Dates, Location, Documentation, Funds Due
• Act as a Liaison for Borrowers, Assisting with Questions/Concerns throughout Process
• Work with Realtors, Attorneys, and Lenders to Confirm Closing Instructions and Needed Items
• Manage and Support Lender Relationships
Minimum Qualifications
• Must speak, read and write English fluently
• Must have 1-5 Years of Experience within Real Estate or Mortgage Industry
• Must have working Knowledge of Real Estate Titles, Deed Preparation, and Closings
• Must have a High-School Diploma or Equivalent
• Must be Proficiency with Computers, including Microsoft Office
• Ability to Work in Fast-Paced Environment and Meet Deadlines
• Self-Motivated: Ability to Work with Minimal Supervision
• Capability to Work both Independently and as part of a Team
• Proficiency with Computers, including Microsoft Office
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule – including evenings, overnight, weekends, etc.
• Must pass a drug-test and criminal background check
