ATSS has a client in Vancouver, WA seeking an experienced Project Engineer Lead to oversee the design, engineering, and construction support of high-speed aluminum vessels.

🔹 Lead engineering and design efforts across multiple disciplines
🔹 Manage engineers, designers, and subcontracted engineering teams
🔹 Oversee Naval Architecture, Structural, Mechanical, and Electrical design activities
🔹 Review calculations, 3D models, production drawings, and technical documentation
🔹 Coordinate with Project Management and Production teams to ensure project success
🔹 Support vessel construction, troubleshooting, and sea trials
🔹 Mentor engineering staff and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
✔ Bachelor's Degree in Naval Architecture, Marine Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering
✔ 15+ years of shipbuilding or boatbuilding experience required
✔ High-speed aluminum vessel experience preferred
✔ Experience with ABS, USCG, IACS, IMO/SOLAS, and military contract requirements preferred
✔ Proficiency with AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Rhino, and Ship Constructor preferred
✔ Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
✔ U.S. Citizenship Required
