SITUATION: 251st Birthday of our beloved Corps
MISSION: Celebrate appropriately.
EX*****ON: COMMANDER’S INTENT: Get us all in the same bar at the same time. This is NOT a Birthday Ball! This year (22nd annual) we will mass forces at The Eagle Street on Tuesday 10 November, 2026; starting at 1600. ENDEX is bar close.
ADMINISTRATION & LOGISTICS:
-Who's welcome? All Marines, Corpsmen, significant others, and... any other folks that love Marines and want to help them celebrate their birthday.
-RSVP? Negative. Just show up.
-Dress code? Negative. SILKIES ADMIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED. Wear what you want, this is a casual event. USMC swag is always admired. No Staff Sergeant, do not wear your Corfams in civvies.
-Cost? Negative. There is no cover charge or other fees/costs.
-Chow? You are on your own for chow. There will be hot chow on the objective. The Eagle Street has a full and tasty menu.
-Drinks? You are on your own for drinks. Full cash bar.
-Program/Ceremony? Yes! Low-key, same as years past. Time TBD. Fluid. Semper Gumby. I always say 1800 to 1900-ish depending on ops tempo and battle rhythm.
-The Smoking Lamp will be lighted: There is an awesome all-weather patio adjacent to the bar, very conducive for ci**rs, and again this year we will have stogies available for sale. Our “Token Squid” Tony Price (Gold Star Ride Foundation) and International Ci**rs, will have a rep at the pub and have a variety of premium ci**rs for sale on the objective www.itscigarrolling.com.
-The Eagle Street is located at 253 W. Kellogg Blvd., St. Paul, MN 55102. For orientation… this is downtown, across the street from Grand Casino Arena (formerly known as the Xcel Energy Center), at the corner of Kellogg and 7th Street. It is kitty-corner from the old Eagle Street Grill.
-Lodging? There is a Courtyard by Marriott right next door at 150 Smith Ave., St. Paul, MN, literally right across the patio. (651) 204-4050, best rate is through the USAA app.
-PARKING! Street parking is limited. There are two parking ramps across the street from the bar to the north and northwest, and a surface lot to the northwest. If you are Vietnam-era or older, message me directly for free valet parking! Easiest ramp to navigate to is at: 145 Smith Avenue, St. Paul, MN. PRO TIP: Since there may be alcohol involved, and it’s your birthday, use Uber or Lyft!

-Smoke grenades and star-clusters of any color are not authorized inside the pub, but are authorized out on the patio and sidewalk.
-Knife-hands inside the bar are authorized and encouraged.
-Admin note about the change in venue. It seems we may have outgrown Pauly’s (depending on turnout, based on which night of the week it is, and weather). Also, the neighborhood around Pauly’s has a rule that the sidewalk needs to be shut down at 2200 (residential area). The Eagle Street is way bigger, has a way better patio situation for ci**rs, and it is owned by the same guys that own Pauly’s.
-Don’t suck, be there on Tuesday, 10 November, at 1600 at The Eagle Street. Rah.
