DHS JROTC

The DHS JROTC is teaming with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve this year to help with the Toys-for-Tots Toy drive.
We have boxes at Smiths, Raley's, Grocery Outlet, Walgreens and here at DHS in the Commons. Please help our community by bringing new unwrapped toys and drop them in one of our boxes. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Congratulations to all of the Cadets who played in the 2nd Annual Douglas/Carson, Army/Navy
Flag Football game. Douglas brought the trophy home with a 36 - 22 win over Carson.

We will be going to the Virginia City Veterans Day Parade this Friday. Students need to be at the school at 08:00 and the bus will leave at 08:30. Please grab a Permission Slip today or tomorrow.!

Hi, I Just wanted to let everyone know that we are selling Raffle tickets for 1 night stay and 4 spa passes to David Walley's Hot Springs Resort. Tickets are 5 dollars each or 5 for 20 dollars.

We need 12 volunteers to go to the Elks Lodge on the evening of November 7th at 5:00 pm to serve dinner to the Veterans and to post the Colors. Please let us know if you would be willing to sign up. All tips and donations from the evening will go directly to the DHS JROTC. Yes we know that this is the same night of the Reed drill meet, this is why we need volunteers. This will also serve as community service hours.

GO ARMY, BEAT NAVY! We will be having the inaugural JROTC Army Navy Flag Football game against Carson City Navy JROTC on 17 October at the DHS Keith Roman Field. This is a fund raised for the 2 JROTC Programs. Please tell your friends and families to come support us and have a good time. Gates will open at 12:00 and Kickoff will be at 1:00pm. Bring your Army or Navy Veterans
