Key Duties:

Requirements:

Language Proficiency: English with the ability to present product demonstrations and engage with clients.

Strong understanding of business growth from 0 to 1, the process of building a product from its conceptualization to its first successful launch and iteration.

POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Program Coordinator will collaborate frequently with staff from across regions and the statewide team. The primary function of this role includes administrative support, coordinating statewide, regional, and programmatic communications and events, and managing records.

PROGRAM OVERVIEW

The program is a specialized, intense, family search and engagement, that uses diligent search strategies to identify a vast array of connections for children and families encountering child welfare. They empower kinship caregivers and wrap them in stabilizing supports using relentless effort, focus, and determination. The program is also a structured professional case consultation that partnerships with professionals and youth to support and promote youth voice and focus during their journey to permanency.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Supports the Director, Managers, and Regional Directors in achieving programmatic goals.

Provide consistent administrative support on an individual, team, and programmatic basis.

Creates correspondence, presentations, and other materials to support program teams.

Takes clear comprehensive notes of assigned meetings and trainings.

Coordinates communications and meetings with internal and external stakeholders at the statewide, regional, and site levels.

Ensures staff have adequate supplies and equipment.

Maintain orderly and complete files and records.

Keep materials up-to-date and produced in a professional manner.

Responsible for the timely creation of the monthly report for The Department of Children and Youth.

Participation and support of Special Projects as needed and as assigned.

Statewide Communications and Event Coordination

Coordinates training and meeting scheduling support, including creation and maintenance of in person and virtual training and learning community schedules.

Schedules, organizes/arranges, and staff’s statewide meetings and other events including.

invitations, food orders, facility amenity coordination, and other logistics.

Provide training and meeting scheduling support, including creation and maintenance of in person and virtual trainings.

Prepare, distribute and maintain all meeting and training supplies and materials in a timely manner.

Coordinate training registration and evaluation process.

Troubleshoot issues and respond to questions from meeting participants, training attendees, site partners, and team.

Performs other responsibilities assigned by the Program Director.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s Degree required.

Demonstrated experience working with interdisciplinary teams utilizing innovative strategies to overcome obstacles.

Experience working within the nonprofit, child welfare, social services, academia, or government settings, preferred.

Possess great facilitation and interpersonal skills including conflict management and medication strategies.

Good written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work independently to meet multiple deadlines and manage multiple tasks.

Ability to use customer service initiatives to work with partner agencies.

Ability and comfort working with diverse populations in various environments.

Time management and strong organization

Skilled in virtual meeting tools such as Zoom and Teams platforms.

Experience using Microsoft Office.

Possess a valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

This opportunity offers an annual salary of $58,000 - $62,000 plus a full and robust benefits package including health, dental, vision, disability, retirement plans, and a generous amount of paid time off plus additional floating holidays.

THE ROLE: We’re seeking a results driven and detail oriented nonprofit financial leader, preferably with a CPA and extensive nonprofit accounting and audit experience with $30M+ budgets. The ideal candidate has a proven track record managing a diverse revenue portfolio, including both public and private funding, and brings deep expertise in federal grants and leading A-133 single audits. Reporting directly to the CFO the Controller will manage a lean finance team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Finance Leadership:

Prepare accurate monthly and quarterly financial statements in compliance with GAAP.

Analyze financial data to optimize reporting and efficiency across the organization.

Develop and enforce financial controls and strategic growth plans.

Guide financial decisions by aligning company policies with current economic trends.

Utilize Financial Edge to enhance and troubleshoot financial operations.

Accounting & Compliance:

Oversee multi-state grants and compliance.

Identify and manage fiscal risks while streamlining accounting processes.

Grant Oversight & Financial Strategy:

Build strong relationships between national and regional teams.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

CPA certification and a Bachelor’s/master’s in accounting, Finance, or related field (highly preferred).

7+ years of nonprofit accounting experience responsible for managing finance teams in nonprofit, philanthropic or academic institutions.

Hands on experience and superb understanding of nonprofit accounting, revenue recognition, cost allocations, single audit (A-133) requirements.

In depth understanding and hands on experience with the financial management and reporting of federal and foundation grants, contracts and multi-funded projects.

Exceptional leadership skills, with a collaborative spirit.

Outstanding communicator; excellent speaking, writing, and interpersonal skills.
