Every year, the Orange County Chamber of Commerce, NY hosts their Women M.E.A.N. Business event, and this year did NOT disappoint. They brought their 5th annual event back to where it all started at Winding Hills Golf Club and featured their past keynote speakers. This year’s keynote speaker was Andi Simon of Simon Associates Management Consultants and author of Women Mean Business, the book that inspired it all. Maureen Halahan, Past President and CEO of the Orange County Partnership, Lori Pine, The Joy CEO, and Anna Gibbs all returned to discuss Mentorship, Empowerment, Authenticity, and Networking and offered a panel discussion that was moving, powerful, and insightful. We also want to extend a big congratulations to Vicki Lynn Mastronaldi, Assistant Vice President and Branch Manager at Orange Bank & Trust, on being honored with the first MEANingful Impact Award.

Huge thank you to Heather Bell-Meyer, her Chamber team, and all of the wonderful women on the Women M.E.A.N Business committee who dedicate their time and efforts to making this event a success year after year! We are already looking forward to next year!

His courage and service serve as an important reminder of all that was lost, sacrificed, and the lasting impact felt by so many. Yesterday morning, Cathy had the honor of presenting Ella Hayward, graduating senior of Pine Bush High School, with the Here's Help Staffing and Recruiting Scholarship through Wallkill East Rotary. This year, we are proud to announce that we doubled the scholarship amount to $1,000 to further invest in our youth and support our commitment to our community and next generation of leaders.

Ella was an exceptional scholarship candidate, having maintained a 4.0 GPA as a scholar athlete, intern, and member of various clubs and extracurricular activities. She plans to attend the University of Vermont to study Environmental Studies and promises to return to Orange County for employment after college.

I will be forever grateful I took the call phone call from Nicole with Here’s helping staffing & recruiting.

Nicole requested a zoom call meeting with me to discuss a potential job.

I was reluctant (and thankful) to actually be able to speak with a human being after applying online to more jobs than I could count, without being able to have any human interaction- only emails advising me if I was a Fit or not for a job I applied for.

Nicole took the time to explain what her service could provide to me, and that she had a potential job that she would like to go over.

I was apprehensive about anything “ temporary “ but desperate for work I had nothing to lose.

I was interviewed within a few days, and offered the position.

This job is everything I was hoping for. It was in a field of work I was hoping to back into. Almost too good to be true. I had applied to similar jobs without success and Nicole’s services was exactly what was needed to get me an interview.

If it wasn’t for Nicole who took the time ( and chance) reaching out to me I might still be on the endless job search with no results.

I was recently offered a permanent position at the company she placed me with before the 90 day trial ended. My life and financial situation is starting to change for the better thanks to Nicole’s phone call.

The time is finally here!

This week we will be making our BIG move to Crystal Run Road and we couldn't be more excited to share our new space with you! We are officially moving Wednesday and will be fully operational during the move, but may be delayed in responding. Bear with us as we will be answering phones while climbing over desks and sending emails one handed with boxes in the other. But rest assured, we are still Here to Help!
