Role: Public Adjuster
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $100,000.00 to $200,000.00 /year
Commission Based
Location: FL (company also serves in TX, CO, NY, NC, NJ)
Essential Job Functions, Duties and Responsibilities
*Perform free inspection of the damages to determine if the loss is covered under the home owner's insurance policy
* Explain the claim process to Homeowners
*Assemble all necessary claim supporting documents
*Attend all inspections with experts on the claims necessary to process the claim
*Maintain an open commutation with the insurance adjuster regarding the claim process
*Be in communication with the homeowner throughout the claim process, giving them updates
*Debate settlement of the claim with the insurance company on behalf of the homeowner
*Provide the homeowner with all offers made by the insurance company on the claim
*Follow up with Homeowner in order to obtain feedback and overall satisfaction for the whole process
Experience and Qualifications
• Must hold or obtain an active Resident (Florida) public adjusters all-lines license (3-20) and maintain continuing education requirements.
• Strong computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel,) Adobe (2 Years preferred).
• Ability to review estimates.
• Ability to efficiently and effectively handle simple to complex property claims.
• Positive attitude, self-motivator, strong work ethic, tenacious follow up and professional demeanor.
• Strong analytical, quantitative, persuasive, time management and multi-tasking skills while operating with a high sense of urgency.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills that allow you to communicate effectively with insurance carrier claim adjusters and Company team members.
• Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work autonomously to perform all essential duties.
• Must possess values consistent with Company: honesty, integrity, motivated, self-starter and willingness to work hard.
• Must be willing to undergo a background check.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
