¿SABÍAS QUE? | DID YOU KNOW?
Spanish may be one language… but it definitely doesn’t sound the same everywhere.
From Mexico to Puerto Rico, Colombia to Cuba, Spain to Guatemala and beyond, Spanish is shaped by region, history, culture and community.
Words can have completely different meanings from one country to another. Accents change. Expressions change. Even the way people greet one another can be different.
And we think that’s pretty incredible.
Because Hispanic Heritage Month is a reminder that there isn’t just one Hispanic experience.
There are countless stories, traditions, voices and cultures, each bringing something unique to the communities we share.
So this week, we’re celebrating the voices behind the heritage.
Muchas culturas. Muchas voces. Una comunidad.
Many cultures. Many voices. One community.
