The kids had an unexpected visitor yesterday evening, and no, it wasn't Santa....
Sugar went knocking on our door to explain to Cody how to properly wire gates shut and inform him he was late for feeding time. No worries, she found an appetizer in the Christmas wreath on our front door.

Yesterday Becky and Cody braved the cold weather to deliver mineral to the cows while Craig is traveling. Cody worked on a waterer while Becky filled troughs. Our horse, Daisy, had to come visit Cody to see what all the excitement was about.

Craig has been busy lately freeze branding heifer calves. Holding metal rods on a winter day that have been in liquid nitrogen isn't as fun as it looks!

Last week, our friend Toby came by to do some embryo transfer work on a few cows. He even gave a short lesson on embryo development and showed us what an 8 day old embryo looks like!
