Our Story

RealStreet was founded as KJMK Management, Inc. in 2001. Starting with a single hiring requisition for an Owners Representative in the DC Metro area, our President operated from a one-room office in her home – with her dining room and kitchen doubling as conference room and cafeteria.

Over the next few years, we solidified the foundation for a successful business by making exceptional placements and great internal hires. We have since become one of the most respected providers of talent our clients and employees depend upon today.

In 2005, we moved out of the one-room office to our current headquarters in Marriottsville, MD. Though we’ve served the continental United States for years, we are expanding our physical footprint to better serve the Federal and the Architecture, Engineering and Construction communities. In 2014, we added three new offices - one in Aberdeen, MD, Frederick, MD, and Tysons Corner, VA - in 2015, we added an office in Dallas, TX and in 2016, we opened an office in Norfolk, VA.
