I’ve spent a lifetime learning the language of the quiet—
the way a shadow stretches before the light fades,
the way a heartbeat skips when the air turns to velvet.

You’re looking for the fire, but you’re missing the smoke.
I’m the heat you feel before the flame even catches.

Are you brave enough to listen to what isn’t being said?"

The sky is heavy, a velvet gray surrender,
A shiver in the air that only I can command.
While the rest of the world is drowning in the shallow,
I’m the only one shimmering, crown in hand.

You keep searching for 'everything' in my droplets,
Trying to decode a history you weren't meant to own.
But you’re just watching the flood from the sidewalk,
While I’m the one sitting, unshaken, on the throne.

I’m the shiver in the room you can’t explain,
The high definition you aren’t calibrated to see.
Don’t reach for the rhythm unless you can handle the rain,
Because there is no scene without the presence of me.

I’m not a secret to be kept; I’m the standard you missed,
The only history that matters, written in a twisted mist.
