One generates pain, the other creates fear. Instead, be grateful for the wisdom & grace that is upon us to deal with any and all challenges that we might face.. As a Data Control Clerk, you will:
• Responsible for daily payment posting and reconciliation.
• Ensure accurate accounts receivable reporting and post insurance payments, patient payment, zero pays and perform adjustments accordingly.
• Analyze and review all payments and adjustments received from insurance companies to ensure maximum accuracy and timely reimbursement.
• Responsible for completing the daily cash report and balancing to cash received.
• Ensure all unidentified payments received are reconciled within 30 days.
• Transferring balances to patients for checks received as insufficient funds.

Qualifications include:
• High School Diploma required or some college preferred.
• 1-2 years of experience required in payment posting.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Must maintain a high volume of processing without compromising quality and accuracy.
• Strong Customer Service skills.
• Ability to participate in an environment that promotes staff development, productivity, satisfaction and efficiency.
• Working knowledge of Excel and Word required.
• Requires good eye hand coordination and manual dexterity.
• Requires the use of office equipment such as computer terminals, telephones, fax machine, calculator and copy machine.
• Proficient in PC, internet, and email required.

Insured patients:
• Confirm coverage requirements for scheduled patients

Uninsured patients:
• Identify appropriate sources for patients based upon FPL guidelines
• Appropriately assess ability for payment plans or discount plans

Qualifications include:
