POSITION SUMMARY: The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of the site’s business goals and objectives.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
Comply with Sandridge food safety, and food quality programs.
Preventive maintenance and service of all equipment in oven rooms, warehouse and production floors to include roll stock, multi-vac, grinder, slicer, conveyor scale, stein tenderizer, etc. This includes checking/changing filters on heating and cooling as needed.
Document all routine inspections and maintenance.
Identify electrical and machinery problems as they arise and repair each promptly.
Lubricate all refrigeration motors and change filters, oil motors and shaft bearings, and change oil in vacuum pumps.
Service and maintain company facility and grounds (i.e. painting, snow removal).
Work safely with production equipment and understand lock out / tag out safety requirements.
Work safely with sharp, pointed electrical, etc. objects.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED required
Completion of a craft apprenticeship, or an equivalent number of years of education and production maintenance experience.

Be physically capable of lifting, pushing, pulling 50 lbs. on a frequent basis.
Ability to pay close attention to detail and follow appropriate chain of command.

Our Client in Maryland is now hiring PRN occupational therapists for home-based outpatient services in Maryland. As a member of our team, you will have the ability to set your own schedule and work at your own pace (this includes options such as daytime, evening time, or weekend treatments to fit your needs). An interest in pain management is a must. Our unique services focus on addressing lifestyle, physical, environmental, and behavioral factors that contribute to a patient's pain experience. You will become an expert in chronic pain management and with assisting our patients to learn how to re-engage in meaningful occupations and live their life to the fullest!

At this time, this position primarily serves central Maryland, including Howard, Anne Arundel, and Baltimore counties.

Principle Responsibilities and Tasks

(The following statements are meant to provide a general outline of expected responsibilities. This is not intended to be an exhaustive list).

1. Perform patient evaluations, treatments, re-evaluations, and discharges following EMR (electronic medical record) documentation best practices. This includes completing a thorough medical history intake; assisting with functional goal setting; implementing appropriate treatment sessions to achieve goals; recommending AE/DME and providing subsequent training; referring to community resources; and providing patient and caregiver education.

2. Administer and interpret standardized tests to determine patient function and intervention outcomes.

3. Submit and track plans of care for physician signatures.

Minimum Qualifications

Education/Training

· Graduation from an ACOTE accredited educational program in Occupational Therapy that is recognized by the Board of OT

License/Certification

· Licensed to practice occupational therapy in the state of Maryland

· Must be in good standing with all licenses and certifications

· Current CPR/BLS certification on file

Experience

· Minimum 1-year experience in the outpatient setting; home health experience will be considered

· Familiarity with modern pain management concepts including non-invasive or alternative therapeutic intervention options

· Experience with EMR preferred

Clinic Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities

· Strong clinical reasoning skills including interpretation of standardized assessments and application of appropriate and effective treatments/interventions

· Strong communication skills; this role will require the therapist to initiate communication with multiple entities including the patient, patient family members/caregivers, physician, members of the treatment team, and the OT director

· Excellent written communication skills and basic familiarity with computers

· Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in order to meet productivity goals

Basic Qualifications for all Candidates

· Occupational therapy license for state of Maryland

· Current CPR certification

· Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy program

· Access to transportation/vehicle with insurance

· Familiarity with EMR (electronic medical records) software and basic computer skills

· Therapist will need to be able to provide their own laptop to travel with them to take notes on, but we will provide them with access to a personal hotspot if they do not have one (in order to access the EMR).
