"Unfortunately, ghosting has become more common (up to 75% of job seekers have said they've been ghosted after an interview). Sometimes the role gets paused or closed and no one communicates it.
To try to prevent this, at the end of the interview ask, 'What are next steps and when should I expect to hear back?' Then send a strong thank you email reiterating your interest. A solid thank you note can make you stay top of mind to the hiring manager.
Consider partnering with an agency recruiter. We're always transparent about status and feedback with our candidates."
