As an independent business and technology consultant, I have worked with Clark Schwenn on several occasions and developed a genuine respect for his professionalism, attention to detail, and the high quality of his process and deliverables. My first interaction with Clark was at the corporate headquarters of a large multichannel apparel manufacturer, working together on a Logistics project the goal of which was to double the productive throughput at a distribution center. Clark’s contribution was key to the success of the endeavor. Later, we worked together under very adverse and trying circumstances on a project that would involve three external parties producing components of an insurance registration, back office, and data warehouse application. My latest work with Clark was at an up-and-coming manufacturer of polyethylene film that was designing and implementing a Salesforce CRM application. Clark, again, brought a rigor of thought and process to the endeavor, greatly increasing the quality of the delivered product and helping to control the timeline of the project, and the completion of his engagement created a real sense of material loss in later phases of the project that did not benefit from his presence.
