Recently, a long term client approached Ed to find a solution for their Finance & Accounting department. Having integrated their recruiting internally over 5 years ago, they managed their own talent acquisition but were unsuccesful in finding the perfect person to serve as Controller. They had worked on the search for 9 months and vetted over 50 applicants before reaching out to Ed to partner on the hunt. Ed found THE ONE and onboarded him within 3 weeks! WHEN IS IT TIME TO HIRE NEW LEADERSHIP
Leadership that was part of a company’s history before the downturn in the economy is not always the leadership of the future that will drive a business through a turnaround or growth after the recovery. As a business changes, leadership often has to be replaced or new leadership has to be added to support strategic and tactical initiatives. Congratulations to Ed Bradstreet and Bo Bradstreet on the quick work on a recent project! B&B was approached by a decades-long client to secure a Financial Analyst for their expanding team. Our client, who has hired over 60 talented indivduals through Bohan & Bradstreet over the years, is a global manufacturer with record revenues and profits. Within 3 weeks of the initial call, Bo & Ed placed TWO candidates in the roles of Financial Analyst because the client decided both finalists were a perfect fit for the company. They are starting in first quarter and the roles are expansionary with multiple upside options at SBU, group, and corporate level. At times, when recruiting the top level of talent for our clients, a candidate will receive a counteroffer from their existing employer. A sure sign that the company wants to retain the individual because they see them as an established contributor. Bohan & Bradstreet only wants the best for the candidates they work with and understands this is an important career decision. B&B works very closely with both parties to facilitate a competive offer package from the client side, while working through the long term objectives for the candidate.
