Property Accountant
Kenwood, Ohio
Job Duties:
• Primary point of contact and accounting support for
assigned properties
• Record, monitor and reconcile rents received
• Set up and maintain tenant ledgers with rents and other
charges in accordance with lease
• Perform month-end closings tasks
• Prepare bank reconciliations and manage cash for assigned
properties
• Prepare required Monthly and Quarterly property financial
reporting
• Interact and provide support to other business areas (Asset
Management, Property Management, etc.)
• Set up new monthly loan payments and amortization
schedules.
• Work with accounts receivable to ensure prompt payment of
rents and CAMS.
• Set up real estate tax accruals, tracking of actual real estate
tax bills and payments
• Review and approve property expense and capex invoices in
the accounts payable system
• Prepare necessary schedules and provide support for annual
audit
• Prepare annual budgets including CAM and RET calculations,
management fee calculations,
insurance, and landlord/capital expenses.
Requirements:
• Four (4) year college degree required.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred.
• 2-5 years work experience, real estate accounting preferred.
• Experience with MRI system preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload
in order to meet tight deadlines in a
fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Be able to demonstrate attention to details and good-record-
keeping.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
• Team player and can collaborate with other teams in the o
organization.
• Ability to work effectively under multiple, and often changing
priorities.
Executive Assistant
Kenwood, Ohio
Position Objective:
Assisting the Owners and Leadership Team in managing administrative needs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Open the office on a daily basis and ensure the daily office operations run smoothly.
• Manage the reception desk and interact with all external visitors or vendors.
• Directly support the executives and leadership team with administrative functions.
• Schedule and coordinate meetings, conferences, travel arrangements, and maintain executives’ business calendars.
• Draft, prepare, and distribute correspondence, memos, and other documents and reports, which require the use of office technologies and software applications.
• Establish and maintain official documents and records in appropriate files.
• Maintain the owners personal bank accounts, bill payments, and other information at the highest level of confidentiality.
• Handling personal business matters for owners, as needed.
• Prepare and submit expense reimbursements for owners and leaders to Accounts Payable for processing.
• Assist in planning and supporting internal and external events hosted by the company.
• Receive, process, sort, and distribute mail along with processing outbound mail.
• Answer phone for the company’s main line and owners’ lines.
• Coordinating set up of IT and other required items for new employees.
• Monitor, order, and stock office supplies, snacks, and other products for the company.
• Support CFO with payroll, 401k submissions, and other human resource responsibilities.
• Perform other various duties as assigned.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities:
• Excellent written and oral communication skills including professional phone etiquette.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively interact with internal and external business partners and staff at all levels.
• Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Excellent organizational skills including ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness and ability to take direction from multiple sources required.
• Positive, “can-do” approach to work.
• Ability to solve problems and troubleshoot with general oversight from leaders.
• Overall general knowledge of the Real Estate Industry is preferred but not required.
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s Degree is preferred...but not required.
• The ideal candidate will have three (3) + years of executive administrative support experience.
• Experience working in the Real Estate industry is a plus.
