Technical Resources Unlimited Inc. (TRU) is a Woman-Owned Small Business (WOSB)* focused on providing our clients with high-quality, technical people who have the skills and experience to meet our client's resource requirements. Based in Lynnfield, Massachusetts, TRU is a National firm that prides itself on our commitment to our clients, while cost-efficiently providing contractors who have the right fit, and partnering with our clients to provide long-term value. TRU Inc. has the capabilities of doing payroll services for companies at a reduced mark up. TRU Inc., will also do direct placements, the fees are negotiable. TRU holds an active DoD facilities clearance at the “Secret” level. We are a small business with 10 employees and offer our employees’ health benefits, direct deposit, 401k and other incentives. TRU contractors include all types of engineers, Electrical, Software, IT, technicians, project managers, designers, drafters, manufacturing, quality and administrators. For several decades, the TRU principals have built a track record by successfully providing corporate and government agencies with workforce augmentation solutions including providing both contract and direct personnel. With more than 30 years of experience in the technical contract recruiting field dating back to 1976. TRU has established and continually improves its Quality Assurance Plan to provide quality temporary and direct professional employees to meet our client’s requirements. As part of our Quality Assurance Plan, we set measurable business management objectives and hold review meetings to determine goal achievements and improvements. Technical Resources Unlimited Inc. has an accounting system that documents hours worked by our employees through the use of time cards. This includes documenting hours for vacation, holiday, overtime, and any indirect activity. All time cards are approved by our contractor's workplace Supervisor and reviewed by TRU's Project Manager for the assignment. TRU has a reconciliation process for our payroll with labor distribution. TRU does not use subcontractors. All contractors placed by us are TRU employees. TRU has a formal Expense Report process for the recording and reimbursement of travel expenses, when these are agreed upon by TRU and our employee as an expense for accepting a particular contract assignment. When required, TRU makes available our current financial reports which include total liabilities, retained earnings, equity, and EBIT for the most recent full fiscal year. We are currently Self-Certified in SAM. *We are still in the process of getting our WOSB certification.
