There have been some changes in the layout of the Kathleen Johnson Memorial Park. Picture 1 is where we were going to be located. In the essence of getting somethings done to utilize monies before they loose them, the city is moving things around which moves us to the east. Things will move forward once the new road designs are done and the work is started on. This will be about an 18 month delay in starting our project. We will use this time to fine tune everything as well as raising money. Stay tuned for more information.

We should never cease to grow. An easy way to continue to grow is pour into other people. The affects may not be immediate...however...they are lasting. I have never heard somebody say they regreted helping someone. It should be something that is infectious, when people experience it, they want more.

Try to not be complacent today. Maybe its buying lunch for the car behind you at the drive thru, maybe its getting something off the top shelf for the nice older lady at the grocery store. What ever it may be, dont give your efforts today to being negative...instead invest that time into what really matters...other people.

At The Connection and Growth Center we will use Aquaponics to provide a sustainable business for some veterans, while building mentorship relationships between the veterans and middle and high school kids. The goal will be to build relationships, friendships and community.
