Ram Charan’s Bollywood debut film Zanjeer shooting is almost in final stage and the movie first teaser will be out soon.Ram Charan is going to participate in this year’s Celebrity Cricket League (CCL). On February 18th, He will be playing the match between Telugu warriors and Mumbai Heroes. The makers of Charan’s debut Bollywood movie, Zanjeer are planning to release the teaser of the movie on the giant screen of the stadium while the match is going on. There is a lot of hype on Zanjeer’s first look teaser after Amitabh Bachchan himself had tweeted about it.

As per the unit sources, Merupu is the title under consideration for the Telugu version of Zanjeer. Few more catchy titles were also being considered, but Charan is keen on Merupu as it’s powerful and appeals to the masses.Zanjeer is the remake of Amitabh’s 1973 blockbuster movie with the same name.Priyanka Chopra is the heroine opposite Charan in the film.The film has Sanjay Dutt, Prakash Raj, Atul Kulkarni, Mahie Gill and others in other lead roles.Zanjeer remake directed by Apoorva Lakhia and Devi Sri Prasad is composing the music.

Merupu was the title of Ram Charan’s shelved movie under the direction of Tamil director Dharani. Kajal was the female lead in that movie. But the movie was shelved due to over budget after shooting of one song.Later, Charan worked for Racha on the same banner and scored a much-needed hit. Now, the actor wants to cash in on that powerful title which went unused.As per the unit sources, Merupu is the title under consideration for the Telugu version of Zanjeer. The shooting of the movie is going on at brisk pace. The movie is also made simultaneously made in Telugu and Hindi and will have a simultaneous release. Chintakayala Ravi fame Yogi is supervising the Telugu version.The release date of Zanjeer has been locked as April 12, 2013. The movie is the remake on 1973 blockbuster movie, Zanjeer. Priyanka Chopra is playing the female lead in the movie. Apoorva Lakhia is wielding the megaphone.

Also, Jr NTR moved to class and comedy action films rather just doing mass flicks. Cashing on this gap, Mega Powerstar Ram Charan is just clicking at Box Office with every mass attempt. Two hits in a row, Racha and Naayak are proving this. Earlier people used to say that B & C centers in Ceded area are a forte for Nandamuri heroes. But now they shifted focus to Charan as he is constantly feeding them with mass-movies. While his 'Yevadu' is a class experiment, it is heard that Charan will do another mass-masala film after that.

However, mass entertainers are not successful always, as people get bored after sometime due to the repetition of similar stories. Let us see how Charan is going to tackle this.

Actor-producer and 'Mega' brother Naga Babu has broken his silence on Sunday over the debut of his son Varun Tej. The speculation is rife that Varun will be launched with director Srikanth Addala, who is basking in glory for the success of 'Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu'. Srikanth's debut film 'Kotha Bangaru Lokam' is also a hit and both are family entertainers.

Confirming the news, doting father Naga Babu who is on the sets of 'Shadow' on Sunday, said, 'Yes, Varun will soon make his debut into films. Director Srikanth has penned a story and he is working on it. I hope Varun will be a good actor.'

Tipped to be a youthful entertainer, the other cast and crew are yet to be finalized. The movie would go to floors in Summer probably in March.
