🤖 AI can’t fire you on its own anymore. At least not in California.

Governor Newsom just signed SB 947, the No Robo Bosses Act, and California is the first state to pass a law like this.

Here’s what changes:

✅ If your employer relies primarily on an AI tool to discipline or fire you, a real person has to independently review that decision and back it up. Clicking “approve” isn’t enough.
✅ You can request a description of the data the system used on you over the past 12 months.

Note: It doesn’t take effect until July 1, 2027. Until then, know your rights and keep records of everything.

Usually when I break down a video, someone's already been hurt. Not this time. This truck driver was barreling down the freeway, likely with failing brakes, and had a split second to make a call. He took the runaway truck ramp. No pileup. No injured families. Everyone goes home.

That's what those gravel ramps are for, and that's what good judgment under pressure looks like. 👏
