How do you want your organization and leadership to be remembered: transformative or destructive?
While working with people, there will always be moments where there will be disagreements, conflict, discord, and sometimes…disconnection. So, when these things happen, how do you handle it? This is the MARK of a transformative work place culture. Do you ignore these happenings hoping that it will temper down on its own? Do you avoid responsibility and accountability? Do you choose a season of perfect timing versus the discomfort of restoration? Do you push all the responsibilities of culture and DEIA work to ONLY your diversity officer? We need a greater conversation about how workplace culture and ethics requires nestling in the discomfort. We are all responsible for creating BRAVER spaces for our communities.
