Many of these fine young men were in my office less than a year ago starting their enlistment process.

A few days ago, they stopped back by before they headed East and talked about how much they enjoy what they do in the National Guard.

I am extremely proud of all of our Soldiers who answer the call, but especially proud of these young Soldiers who answered the call to serve their community, state and country!!!

More than 400 people have been rescued by helicopters in eastern Kentucky.
