🎤 Introducing our Emcee, Susan Powell!

In September 1980, Susan represented Oklahoma at the Miss America competition in Atlantic City, New Jersey. She captured the judges’ hearts and was crowned Miss America 1981! 👑
An accomplished actress, singer, and television personality, Susan studied at Oklahoma City University under renowned voice teacher Florence Birdwell. Her vocal talent and stage presence have taken her around the world, performing in theaters, opera houses, and concert halls. 🎶

📺 Susan also hosted a television show, Home Matters, on The Discovery Channel for nine seasons.

We are thrilled to have her on the Miss Maryland stage emceeing our competition!
