I finally jumped on the bandwagon and had AI create an image of me based on my job description as a recruiter in manufacturing…

And this is what it came up with 👇

Apparently, I work in a sleek office, wearing a suit, overlooking a dark and slightly gloomy industrial city while analyzing charts all day.

Not exactly reality 😄

In real life, I work from home in comfy clothes, usually wearing fun earrings and a flowy top. My “coworkers” are often a cat or dog sitting right on my desk, and my view is my backyard on a good day.

It’s funny how even AI has a certain picture in mind when it comes to manufacturing roles.

Just goes to show… there’s always more to the story than what’s on paper.

Now I’m curious…

If you work in manufacturing (or any role really), what does your actual workday view look like?

This month I’m celebrating a big birthday.

Half a century. 🎉

But I’ve decided to apply a little something I like to call twin math (kind of like girl math… but better 😄).

Since my twin brother and I have shared a birthday our entire lives, it only feels fair that we share the years too.

So really… we’re just turning 25.

Seems reasonable, right?

We’ve shared everything from day one
The spotlight
The cake
The “whose gift is whose” confusion

So splitting the years just feels like the next logical step

All jokes aside, I feel incredibly lucky to go through life with my built in best friend. Not everyone gets to grow up side by side with someone who knows you that well, supports you, and has been there for every single chapter.

Here’s to celebrating milestones
Appreciating the people who make life better
And maybe bending the math just a little when it works in your favor

Cheers to 25 🥂

If you’re looking to make drinking more water a habit, here’s what’s been working for me:

1. Start with a glass of water first thing in the morning.
2. Use a big water bottle (I got myself a half-gallon one) to keep track. I fill it the night before, so it’s ready to go in the morning.
3. Aim to finish that first bottle by noon.

I’ll admit, when I started, I was running to the bathroom a lot! But it gets easier. And water is so good for us—it curbs cravings, boosts energy, and even gives your skin a glow.

If you’re feeling good after today’s challenge, try adding a bit more tomorrow, and keep building from there. I’ll be back tomorrow with another simple, healthy habit to try!

Hey Friend,
I wanted to let you know about something special I’m doing in November—a new Gratitude Challenge called “Grateful for My Health.” It’ll run from November 4th to November 8th, just five days, and I would love for you to join me in our Facebook group “Lady Abigail’s Sanctuary” (comment “challenge” below and I will PM you the link). We can totally do this together—it’ll be fun, and it’s such a good time of year to refocus on what really matters.

The inspiration for this challenge actually came from a moment that recently brought health and gratitude front and center for me. I was at a gas station, about to pump gas, when a tiny, fluffy white dog popped up on the other side of the pump and started barking at me! He was doing his absolute best to guard his owner, even though he was just this little puffball.

You know how much I love dogs, so I said hi to him, but he wasn’t having it—he was in full protector mode. Then his owner came around the corner, looking a little worn out, and apologized for his barking. I noticed she was wearing a head wrap, and it dawned on me that she might be recovering from cancer. I smiled and assured her it was totally fine, mentioning how brave her little guy was and that he was clearly watching over her, especially now.

When she smiled back, there was this quiet understanding between us. It hit me deeply that health is everything, and when we face something as tough as a serious illness, all those little day-to-day stresses just fade into the background. I stood there feeling so grateful for my own health, but also realizing how often I’ve let work or other “priorities” push it aside.

Meeting her was a gentle reminder that I needed to make my health a focus again—hydrating, moving, and simply being a bit kinder to myself. And that’s what sparked the “Grateful for My Health” challenge. I hope you’ll join me in this cozy fall challenge to reconnect with health and self-care.

The calmness of fall and winter is such a perfect time to go inward and give ourselves the care we deserve. So, what do you say? Join me in the group, and let’s get started on November 4th!

Wishing you health, wealth, and most of all... happiness!
