📣 WE’RE HIRING: Behavioral Health Practitioner Supervisor – Substance Use

The Nebraska Department of Correctional Services is seeking a Behavioral Health Practitioner Supervisor at the Omaha Correctional Center to lead substance use treatment services and support rehabilitation through evidence-based care.

In this role, you’ll:
✔ Provide individual and group psychotherapy and substance use treatment to incarcerated individuals, maintaining accurate clinical records and treatment plans.
✔ Lead interdisciplinary team meetings to develop, review, and update individualized treatment plans.
✔ Train and mentor staff on substance use counseling practices, policies, and procedures.
✔ Provide clinical supervision to Provisionally Licensed Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselors and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselors.
✔ Oversee substance use treatment operations by setting program goals, coordinating services, and developing action plans.
✔ Evaluate staff performance, establish standards, and support professional growth through regular feedback and supervision.
✔ Apply evidence-based treatment strategies tailored to the needs of the population while identifying resources needed to maintain effective programs.
📍 Location: Omaha, NE
💲 Pay: $40.571/hour
