Texas is hurting — and we all have a role to play.

This week’s devastating floods across Central Texas have left behind a trail of heartbreak. Entire communities were washed out in minutes. Families are grieving. Lives have been lost, and many children are still missing after catastrophic flash flooding near Kerrville, Camp Mystic, and surrounding areas.

As professionals, we can’t afford to scroll past this.

We are leaders, connectors, and problem-solvers. Whether you’re in business, healthcare, logistics, HR, or public service — this is a moment to activate:

✅ Give: Contribute to trusted local relief funds or nonprofits aiding search & rescue, shelter, and recovery.
✅ Support: If you work in tech, supply chain, or housing — your skills and networks can make a difference in emergency response.
✅ Mobilize: Employers can offer paid volunteer time, match donations, or support displaced employees and families.
✅ Pray & advocate: Let’s keep Texas in our prayers and call for better infrastructure and crisis readiness for the future.

This isn’t just Texas’ crisis — it’s ours as a nation.

Let’s not just watch the news. Let’s be the people who do something.

Class of 2025 — it’s your time to take a seat at the table. You’ve earned it.

Graduation isn’t just about earning a degree — it’s about proving you can show up, stay focused, and finish strong.

Education gave you more than textbooks and lectures. It gave you:
• Time management — learning how to balance deadlines, jobs, family, and life
• Problem-solving — navigating the chaos and still finding a solution
• Accountability — no one chased you down, yet you made it happen
• Discipline — showing up when it wasn’t convenient
• Resilience — bouncing back after failures and setbacks

These are the skills that belong in the boardroom, in strategy meetings, in leadership roles.

So to the 2025 grads — Bring your voice, your grind, and your fresh ideas. You are the future.

Pull up your chair. We’re ready for you.

Grit isn’t just for you — it’s for the daughters watching.

Every time you choose resilience over retreat, integrity over convenience, and boldness over fear — you’re teaching the next generation of women how to lead with courage. You’re showing them how to advocate for themselves, how to navigate tough rooms, and how to rise without losing their values.

Workplaces need more women who won’t back down, who hold their ground with grace, and who fight for more than just their seat — but for a better table.

Let them watch. Let them learn. And let’s leave them a path made of grit, grace, and guts.

She was afraid to start.

Uncertain. Overwhelmed.
She didn’t have all the answers, but she had a vision.

Her goal was two customers in her first year. Just two.

Four months in? She’s already served six.
Not because it was easy—because she chose to do it anyway.

When people said she couldn’t—she did it anyway.

When whispers questioned her ability—she showed up anyway.

When doubt knocked—she built with faith in God, grit and resilience.

This is what it looks like when faith meets action.

When courage rises higher than fear.
When a woman decides: I’m doing it scared, but I’m doing it.

To every woman out there with a dream:
You don’t need permission.
You don’t need the perfect plan.
You just need to start.

Do it anyway. Do it for thee daughter watching you ❤️😇

Taking Ownership Isn’t Weakness—It’s Growth.

I’ve learned that saying “I could have handled that differently” doesn’t make you weak. It opens the door for resolution, empathy, and growth.

Growth begins with honesty. And healing starts with humility.

BE BETTER🙌

One of the most dangerous things in any organization isn’t just unethical behavior—it’s silence in the face of it.

Silent when a VP threatens you and other executives in your department.

Silent when a manager engaged in a relationship with a subordinate, compromising the integrity of leadership.

Silent when a manager invaded employee privacy by sifting through emails without consent.

Silence can feel safe. But in leadership, silence protects dysfunction, erodes trust, and allows toxicity to thrive. We can’t expect our teams to be brave if we aren’t brave ourselves.

Culture isn’t built by what we say.
It’s built by what we tolerate—and what we don’t.
