I really wish we had taken more pictures at our Second Annual Boo Boo Bus Bash Fundraiser, but we were just too busy having so much fun! With basket raffles, costume contests, fall themed games with amazing prizes, w**e tasting, dancing and amazing food...who had time?! I don't have our exact numbers on hand, but I do know that we, as a community, outdid ourselves :-) We were even more successful than last year. Leonardtown Volunteer Rescue Squad is so appreciative of all our support, with special thanks to the Port of Leonardtown Winery , Sean Coogan with The Social Coffee House on Fenwick, our local Outback and Green Turtle Restaurants and of course...our amazing DJ, Will Costello who always keeps the crowd alive. Will always comes through with a special place in his heart for first responders and military. Without these generous contributions and support, we would not be able to continue putting this fundraiser on each year. Our station thanks you.

Looking like we're getting some weather! Be prepared!

WEATHER UPDATE/9:00 AM: As many of you are seeing in our forecasts. A Winter Storm is likely to develop and move into our area over the upcoming weekend. Weather models are still going back and forth on the exact amounts of snow that we could see. Given the amounts of snow is still uncertain. It will no doubt be cold enough for snow in our area as temperatures will be in the 20s.
As the weather models continue to agree more on this storm, the amounts have gone up and down of how much snow we could see.

The latest models show this storm arriving by Saturday Afternoon and continuing into the night and on Sunday. The highest amounts of snow could be occurring Saturday Night.

Right now, our area could see 2-3 inches Saturday Afternoon with another 5-7 inches Saturday Night. Followed by another 3-5 inches on Sunday before this system moves out of the area. These amounts are expected to continue to change as it develops and moves closer to our area.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support us last night for our Boo Boo Bus Bash fundraiser. We had an amazing turnout and a great time was had by all! We auctioned off a total 12 baskets, the food was delicious and the DJ did the best job ensuring the crowd enjoyed every minute of the night! A huge thank you to POL w**ery for all their support and to The Social Coffeehouse for their generous donation.
