How do you sum up 15 years in one post? How about one word: relationships.
On October 19, 2011, our founder Jessica Underwood had a vision: build a recruiting and staffing firm rooted in real relationships. Fifteen years later, the rich connections and amazing community we’ve built together have carried that vision forward.
We started in a small office in Brookside. Since then, we’ve grown from a handful of people into a team of seven divisions. We’ve welcomed new leaders, adapted through a pandemic, celebrated championships with our city, and found our new home in Leawood. The adventures and challenges we've been fortunate to experience as part of our story have shaped who we are today. Every handshake, every conversation, every moment has led us here.
This past Thursday, we proudly celebrated this 15-year journey with many of the people who made it possible: our coworkers, colleagues, friends, and family. Dave Panico filled the night with live jazz, Francis Nyaforh, treated us to a few special songs, and everyone who showed up helped make this milestone celebration unforgettable.
We know that none of this could've happened alone. Thank you to our founder Jessica Underwood, our President and Owner Casey Wright, our Vice President Lisa Acree, our leadership team, our entire COS staff, and the community that has supported us every step of the way. Because of you, we continue making connections that matter each day.
We love what we do. We love Kansas City. And we love the people who make this the best place to live. Cheers to 15 years of making connections that matter, and to many more ahead!
