Friday Wrap Up! It's been a while and we've been so caught up in the present moment.✨ Life moves fast and Van Go moves at lightning speed sometimes. Both JAMS and The Arts Train sessions are in full swing. We've welcomed back our returning teaching artists Maeve Maeve and Raven Raven Naramore and welcome newcomer Annastasia to the teaching realm at Van Go. This session is set to be an amazing one with loads of new interesting items being created for Adornment, our annual Holiday sale. See you next week for some insight into what we're working on!

Glass pickles or pickled glass? We are starting to create work that can be sold at Adornment, our annual Holiday sale. The Arts Train has been learning to work with fused glass and turning them into pickle ornaments. Do you have a tradition of hiding the pickle ornament in the tree every winter season?

We're SO CLOSE! Saturday is the big day for Dinner on the Curve, Van Go's Annual Fundraiser! With only a handful of tickets remaining, this is an excellent way to give to Van Go in a time when we need it most. Every ticket sold goes toward keeping our programs excellent.

Shoutout to KSHB 41 for covering our recent changes! We appreciate all the community support we've received and the efforts to spread the word!

Lawrence nonprofit Van Go says a 2025 executive order has resulted in the loss of its Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act grant.

"Our state partner has decided to reallocate their funding internally," said Lori McSorley, executive director. "This presents a significant challenge to us because this equates to a third of our budget.”
