Accounting Specialist
Location: Bennettsville, SC
Pay: Starting at $25.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Position Overview
We are currently seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Specialist to join our client’s team in the Bennettsville, SC area. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity for someone with strong accounting skills who enjoys working with financial records, invoices, reconciliations, and general office responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
Process vendor invoices, including verifying and obtaining payment approvals.
Match purchase orders, receiving reports, and invoices while identifying and resolving exceptions.
Perform detailed accounting work to assist with preliminary budget preparation.
Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations.
Prepare billings and supporting schedules.
Generate, maintain, and revise customized reports and spreadsheets related to vendor payments, general ledger transactions, purchase orders, utility accounts, and leases.
Perform reconciliations on a wide variety of financial data.
Assist with the month-end closing process.
Provide general office support, including responding to telephone inquiries and preparing information summaries.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Work closely with other departments to resolve invoice, payment, and accounting discrepancies.
