One of the most rewarding parts of leadership is watching someone step outside their comfort zone.

When I first got into staffing, I was intimidated by recruiting outside of my comfort zone. I stuck to general labor and entry level warehouse positions because that's what I knew. Over time, I gained confidence and went on to fill hundreds of call center positions. After more than six years in staffing, I eventually expanded into recruiting skilled trades and Maintenance Mechanics.

That's why I'm especially proud of Angel.

After only 30 days in the staffing industry, Angel scheduled an interview with a candidate for a Direct Hire Role. This candidate arrived without a resume, and instead of making the conversation transactional, Angel took the time to truly interview him, learn about his background, and uncover a skillset that may have otherwise been missed. During that conversation, Angel discovered this candidates experience as a Folder Gluer Operator.

A few months ago that candidate started his new position with our client.

This is a perfect example of what great recruiting looks like. It's not just matching resumes to job descriptions. It is taking the time to understand people, identify their strengths, and connect them with opportunities.
