Position: Program Specialist/Pharmacy Coordinator
Location: Work-From-Home (remote)
Hours of operation: Monday-Friday (some weekend work may be required)
Program-specific training hours are 8:30a-5:00p EST.
Shift hours after training will fall between 6a-6p EST and will be determined after training is completed. Please note that the business center hours are 8a-10p EST, and shifts are based on the needs of the business, so they may change.
(You will be assigned an 8-hour shift, 5 days a week, that falls within these hours of operation)
Pay: $17.50/hr
Duration: This is a long-term, temp-to-hire opportunity
Project Summary:
Pharmacy Coordinator/Program Specialists will work in a high-volume call center environment (80% of your time will be spent on the phone), answering calls from patients, doctors, and healthcare providers, doing benefit investigations, documenting any adverse events a patient may have while on a new medication, and then looking into reimbursement programs, grants, and discount coupons to help that patient cover the cost of their medications that insurance doesn't cover.
Requirements:
-At least 18 years old
-Authorized to work in the U.S.
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Must be willing to submit to a background check and drug test
-At least 1 year of experience in a call center; working from home is preferred.

In this role you will:
-Answer all inbound calls, basic customer questions and assist with navigating the website.
-2 weeks of training provided

-Accurately record and document communication
