About the Role
Our client works with high-net-worth individuals and families, managing complex financial matters including multi-state and international tax issues, private equity funds, partnerships, S-corporations, trusts, and estates. Think of it as a family-office vibe with clients primarily in California, New York, and the tri-state area.
We’re looking for someone who loves numbers, tax strategy, and solving complex problems. If analyzing multi-state or international tax scenarios excites you and messy data drives you to organize and optimize it, this role is a perfect fit.
This isn’t just data entry—you’ll be handling complex tax data, leveraging advanced Excel skills, and providing insights that help our clients make informed financial decisions.
What You’ll Do
Core Responsibilities
-Accurately enter and review data for multi-state and international tax filings
-Ensure compliance and accuracy across complex tax scenarios
Excel & Data Analysis
-Use Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP, Index/Match, and advanced formulas to clean and organize data
-Translate messy datasets into clear, actionable insights
Presentation & Insight
-Build tables, charts, and summaries that clearly communicate financial and tax information
-Provide meaningful analysis that supports client decisions
Process Improvement
-Identify opportunities to streamline workflows and automate repetitive tasks
-Help the team work smarter, not harder
What We’re Looking For
-Degree (or working toward) in Accounting, Economics, Math, or a related field
-Strong Excel skills—comfortable with advanced formulas and professional formatting
-Experience or interest in multi-state and international tax compliance
-Attention to detail and ability to catch small errors
-Professional, reliable, and respects client confidentiality
Pay rate: $25 and up (DOE)
Shift: Monday-Friday 10am-6pm
